"Car Dieu a tant aimé la monde qu'il a donné son fils unique, afin quiconque croit en Lui ne périsse pas mais qu'il ait la vie eternelle." Jean 3:16

This summer has yeilded many opportunities for ministry but for some reason, i feel that i haven't made the most of those opportunities and a bit like it hasn't been a very fruitful summer. Sure i've talked to kids about God and unconditional love and practicing His love in their lives, but how much of a difference have i made for them? it's everything they learn in sunday school anyway. and i didn't really get many chances to talk to they "unchurched" kids as we called them during girls camp. and friends? yes i've talked to friends as well but those encounters all seem to center around "well it's good for you but i have my own thing". well i guess it comes down to the fact that changing hearts isn't up to me, but HIM and the only thing i can do is give my best.
I do have another ministry project coming up soon; a friend from calgary coming for McGill.
I was SO GLAD to hear from my missionary family this morning. Even though they struggle through relatives having schizophrenia and depression, they're relying on God's strength to carry them through. "Little Sarah" as i always think of her, isn't so little anymore, she's in grade 11 now, maybe coming back to Canada for gr. 12. Jon's going to UBC in engineering, even though he wrote me planning to come to McGill...Julia's just had her second baby, Evan, a bit over 10 lbs.!! and Sam's finally found a job in engineering.
Time flies.
